TESTIMONIALS
DAFFY'S STORY

The patient: Daffy is a 12-year-old JRT. Pain management was her owners main concern so she can continue enjoying her walks and digging up the garden!
The diagnosis: The diagnosis: Daffy has a few health concerns, she has a cervical disk protrusion, bilateral elbow dysplasia and has a history of cruciate disease affecting her left hind limb. She also has general osteoarthritis changes in multiple joints.
The treatment: The Treatment: Daffy suffers with sensitive gut and has developed vomiting and diarrhoea while using NSAIDs previously. She has not been able to tolerate one for more than a week or so at a time. Her owner was understandably upset as on the medication she was much happier but due to the unwanted side effects she wasn’t able to remain on them.
Daffy’s owner says: “Since using Daxocox® over the last three months, Daffy seems years younger, she is back to digging up my garden and enjoying her walks again! She doesn’t suffer with an upset tummy any more, we are thrilled with the improvement in her”.
JILLY'S STORY
The patient: Jilly is a 14-year-old former sheep dog who lives on a farm.
The diagnosis: According to her owners, Jilly had ‘dropped arches’ on her front paws. After visiting her vet, she was diagnosed with arthritis of the carpi (wrists) – which were stiff and chronically thickened. She also had poor carpal extension coupled with splayed toes on her front paws.
The treatment: It appeared that Jilly had been arthritic for some time but had only been medicated with a joint supplement. After her visit to the vet, Jilly was prescribed Daxocox®. After a month of treatment the vet noticed from a clinical point of view that Jilly was able to extend her carpi and her demeanour was much improved”.
Jilly’s owners say: “She has obvious improvement in terms of her mobility, her legs and paws seem much less swollen. She’s much happier and she deserves to be as she’s worked so hard on the farm”.

JJ's story

The patient: JJ is an eight-year-old Bordie Collie. A working dog with high energy, who suffers with anxiety and behavioural issues.
The diagnosis: JJ was diagnosed two years ago with early onset osteoarthritis, after his owner, Emma, noticed how he had started to struggle getting onto the sofa.
The treatment: JJ was prescribed a daily NSAID (whilst also taking a homeopathic medication for his behavioural issues). Under this medication JJ’s condition deteriorated and he stopped working and became less active. JJ also struggled with diarrhoea and was unsteady on his feet. JJ was then tried with Daxocox®.
JJ’s owner says: “Since starting Daxocox® JJ is back to being a high energy dog who enjoys his daily exercise again. We’ve been using Daxocox® for five months now and JJ has had a new lease of life, the diarrhoea has stopped and he is come off all other medication”.
LINK'S STORY
The patient: Link is a two-year-old Chow Chow, a former rescue dog with little known history. Link was showing signs of lameness when rising and when walking.
The diagnosis: Link came into the vet with intermittent left forelimb lameness. On examination there was crepitus and localised pain of the left elbow. Subsequent x-rays were performed and these showed mild OA changes associated with the left elbow.
The treatment: Sophie, the vet, decided to prescribe Daxocox® to “ensure compliance with once weekly dosing, as in the past I have found that after a week or so owners often perceive their dog to be ‘better’ so stop the daily medication. Since taking Daxocox® he has shown huge improvement and is sound at exercise and clinical examination”.
Link’s owner says: ‘Sixteen weeks later and he is doing great! He runs around like a lunatic with no signs of any lameness”.

PIPPA'S STORY

The patient: Pippa is a four-year-old Labrador-cross.
The diagnosis: Pippa starting showing signs of lameness in 2020 which led to an arthroscopy of the elbow which confirmed coronoid disease (a form of elbow dysplasia).
The treatment: Pippa was initially prescribed a daily NSAID, but compliance to the regular treatment became an issue due to the owner’s busy lives.
Pippa’s owner says: “ Daxocox® has worked wonders for her and allowed her to go on her daily walks, cover herself in as much mud as possible, play endlessly with her toys and keep our garden safe from all the pigeons!
Only having to administer one dose weekly has worked really well for us as its not another thing to forget in our busy schedule, When compared to daily medications that we trialled in the past, we have noticed a significant reduction in the occasional lameness due to missed doses. Daxocox® is great product that has really helped our little diva!”
